Questions we get
before every engagement.
What if my project doesn't fit these tiers?
It probably does — they're deliberately broad. If you're unsure, start with a Discovery sprint. It's the cheapest way to figure out where you actually land. Worst case, we refund the difference if we recommend a tier that's smaller than what you booked.
Do you charge hourly?
No. Every engagement is fixed-scope or fixed-retainer. Hourly billing incentivizes us to be slow. We want the opposite.
Can I hire you for just the AI part if Mansatak handles the rest?
Yes — and that's increasingly the setup. QuadAgents handles the AI layer, Mansatak handles web/app/systems. You get one project lead either way. Billing stays separate unless you ask us to bundle.
What's the deal with the "Rush: +40%" note?
If you need a compressed timeline (e.g. MVP in 4 weeks instead of 8), we charge a premium because it requires two people on the same work. We'll only accept rush if we're confident we can ship without cutting corners on evals.
Who owns the code and the models?
You do. Full transfer of IP on every engagement — code, prompts, evals, docs, infra. We keep no rights beyond a permission to talk about the work publicly with your approval.
What about ongoing costs after launch?
LLM API costs, infra, and third-party services are yours — we help you right-size them during the build. We don't mark up any usage costs. You'll get a monthly cost forecast as part of the handoff.
Can we start tomorrow?
Discovery: usually within a week. Build engagements: typically 2–4 week lead time depending on current pipeline. Platform partnerships: scheduled against capacity — let us know when.
